Our quote calculator is designed to give you a clear, honest price for enclosed bicycle transport – no vague estimates, no hidden extras. Every quote is based on the actual miles we drive,
the time on the road and the real costs of running a dedicated, carbon-safe bike delivery van.
What your quote includes
- Direct A-to-B transport from collection to delivery – no depot handling or multi-drop courier rounds.
- Enclosed, carbon-safe loading with soft straps, padding and white-glove handling for high-value bikes.
- Fuel and diesel costs for the full round trip from our depot and back.
- Driver time and labour for loading, securing and handing over your bike.
- Any known road charges along the route – for example ULEZ, Dartford Crossing / M25 tolls or city congestion zones.
How we calculate the cost
When you enter your postcodes, the calculator works out the total route mileage between:
- Our depot
- Your collection address
- Your delivery address
From this we calculate:
- Miles driven (including the return leg) and an estimated journey time.
- An internal cost per mile that covers diesel, vehicle wear and running costs.
- Labour time for professional loading, unloading and documentation.
- Any applicable ULEZ, toll or congestion charges along the route.
All of this is combined into a single fixed price, so you can see exactly what your enclosed bike transport will cost before you book.
Typical prices and what affects them
As a guide, most single-bike jobs fall into a band where:
- Shorter, local trips with fewer miles and no ULEZ or tolls sit at the lower end of the price range.
- Longer-distance jobs with higher mileage, city centre access or ULEZ zones naturally cost more.
- Complex multi-route journeys (for example, collecting from one address, delivering to another and returning via a different location) are priced on the extra miles and time involved.
The calculator always uses the same logic, so similar routes produce consistent, transparent pricing.
Deposits and payment
To confirm a booking we usually take a deposit, with the remaining balance payable before or on collection / delivery - dependant on who the payee (customer) is.
Once you've booked, we'll confirm the date, phone and email with the exact deposit and payment options.
